The walking tour starts from the so called Porta Carlo III, next to the Main Post Office in Gaeta and ends in the medieval area of the town where the very first defensive walls had been built by the Doges of Gaeta in the 9th century AD.
A tour backwards in history following the steps of Emperors and Kings who changed the look of the town.
